Ms. Susan Mpangile holds a Bachelors of Law Degree from University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) from the Law School of Tanzania. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Courts subordinate thereto save for primary Courts.

Susan is an associate at the Firm and her practice focuses mainly on commercial and corporate law advisory, banking and finance, capital markets, and employment.

She has acted for parties on corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions including antitrust/competition issues as well as undertaking detailed due diligence on various transactions.

Susan is capable of undertaking all types of commercial work, including reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and leases, advising on perfection and enforcement of securities as well as providing advice on regulated sectors such as telecoms and financial institutions.

 

 She is a member of Tanganyika Law Society, East Africa Law Society and Tanzania Women Lawyers Association.

 

Before joining the Firm, she worked with M/S ATZ, a Law firm as Legal Officer assisting lawyers on Investments, finance, Intellectual Property Law, Electronic and Mobile Commercial Law; moved to CRB Africa Legal as an Associate Partner specializing on Security documentations, due diligence and forensic investigation and handling foreign investors’ portfolio, and later ARS.
